Seeing these cute little penguins up close and in the wild is truly a special experience. To continue on with your wildlife adventures there is East Coast Nature World, a great wildlife park just 7km north of the township. You can witness the Tasmanian Devils being fed, get up close and personal to wallabies, kangaroos, snakes, and quolls among other native Tasmanian fauna and other non-native animals. The Blowhole at Bicheno is arguably the best in Tasmania and really gets going when there is a Tasman Sea swell. There are fantastic photo opportunities when the waves create their huge spray through the gorgeous orange colored rocks and even on a fine day it is advisable not to get too close as there is often a stray wave waiting to drench unsuspecting tourists.

Bicheno Located in Bicheno in the Tasmania region with Bicheno Beach nearby, Dreamcatcher Bicheno provides accommodation with free private parking.

Each unit is equipped with a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, a seating area with a sofa, a TV, a washing machine, and a private bathroom with shower and a hairdryer. A fridge, an oven and stovetop are also provided, as well as a kettle. Tom, the host was extremely helpful. We stayed on the night of Good Friday. Little restaurants nor supermarkets open as expected. Tom helped us to research on opening hours of restaurants and helped us to book beforehand.

Upon our arrival, we consulted on the location where we could see the penguins. Tom was familiar with the bicheno areas and we were lucky enuf to see the penguins!! We were provided certain white rice, which was a surprise to chinese like us!

Overall i would say, this flat is very clean, spacious and well equipped and worth the price at this tourist spot! We felt like staying at home. And my son misses the tall toy giraffe at the apartment! Show more Show less.
